Close readers of the this week's Metropolitan section on Sunday will notice some changes. This week brings the first appearance of app city, a column technology to get you work faster, you can find that restaurant, you have the desire to try, or perform, that Blockbuster Museum exhibition devoted to. Or at least that is what app developers claim it will - do our columnist, Joshua Brustein, will be by each of the second test week.
Each list of the most longed-for Smartphone applications for New York should probably start one for u-Bahn drivers, and therefore the subject of our first column of Roadify, a free iPhone app that provides type to speed up the wisdom of the many to your trip. (Have an app, which you think that we should know?) (Send proposals via Twitter: @ Joshuabrustein.)
How a column makes his debut, an other bows out: the complaint in the field column appears only on the city room blog. If you complain or others want to, send an E-mail to Metropolitan@nytimes.com.
