In today's paper I wrote about some less than known tips and shortcuts for Apple's iPhone. But in all the things you can do on the phone itself a subset of tips that have to do with the headphones controller which is, obviously, for some iPhone users prove useful while a little more.
The controls on iPhone compatible earphones are always the same, regardless of manufacturer. There are three buttons: at the top, a louder button; at the bottom, a quieter button; and in the Middle, a multifunction button.
The volume control work for music (iPod or any other music app) or phone calls. But the Center button has a bunch of different functions.
For music:
-The Center button press stops or music is restarted.
-Two opts for the next track. Press three times (it takes some speed) plays at the beginning of the track in either backs up or, if you are few seconds of a song within the first - to the previous track.
-If you press twice and hold, you will quickly by the line forward. If you are to the point in the song you want to let the Los. Three times, press and hold (extra Ninja points for you, if you can pull this off) does the same with rewind.
-At any time if you press and hold the Center button, listen to you, that the two-tone chime indicating voice command is active. The let go and speak the voice command.
For the phone:
-Press the Center button will stop to answer incoming call or a call in progress. Twice sends an incoming call to the voicemail.
-If you receive a new call while on the phone, will press once the first call is put on hold and answer the other call. Press once to, you can call between the two jump.
-If you are on two calls, to press and hold the key completely on one side launch and again on another call.
